Gitlab忘记root密码怎么办

gitlab导入了别人的项目，但是项目中不知道如何备份的，在导入的时候把我的root的密码给覆盖了，登录不上去，没办法。只能重置或者找回密码了，但是root用户的邮箱都是设置的默认的，公司根本没有这个邮箱，只能重置了。需要登录到gitlab所安装的服务器上，执行如下命令:

则可能是 Gitlab 版本不一样，然后参数方式不一样，需要用如下方式：

接着查询一下用户：
> user = User.where(username:"root").first
=> #<User id:1 @root>
然后修改密码：
> user.password = "www.wulaoer.org"
=> "www.wulaoer.org"
然后保存：
> user.save!

保存之后，可以使用如上密码 www.wulaoer.org 进行登陆，这里要注意的是，修改的密码不能和原来的密码一样，或者曾经使用过的密码？如果gitlab有设置的话，你在这里修改成功了，但是还是登录不上去，说明gitlab限制了
